PROVOCATIONS

We are excited to bring back the highly engaging Provocations sessions, first introduced at the CIES 2022 conference. These interactive sessions provide a unique opportunity for attendees to engage deeply with key conference themes through dynamic, discussion-driven formats.

For CIES 2025, we will offer one virtual session and three on-site sessions:

  • Virtual Session:
“The Digital Turn: Considering the Implications for Teaching and Learning in the Field of Comparative and International Education (CIE)”
  • On-Site Sessions:
    1. “How can we improve the impact of research on learning with digital solutions through dissemination efforts?”
    2. “Double-Edged Sword: How Digital Technology Is Reshaping and Transforming Our Modern Society”
    3. “How are borders and belonging framed in the digital space?”

Join us to explore these thought-provoking topics and participate in rich discussions that aim at bringing new insights and ideas to our field with leading scholars, including:
