REGISTRATION RATES AND INFORMATION
The preliminary program will be posted on February 7, 2025.
BEFORE YOU REGISTER
If you have a role in the upcoming CIES conference (presenter, co-author, chair, discussant, etc.), you are required to join CIES or renew your current membership. Once you have completed this first step, you can then register to attend the conference.
If you are presenting, chairing, or discussing or you have any other role in the conference (except non-presenting authors), you must register by December 10th, 2024 to be included in the program. Only those who have registered by the December 10th deadline will be included in the program. If you are not presenting, chairing, or discussing, you can still register to attend. If you are a member you can register with member rates, otherwise you will register as a non-member, with higher rates.
To qualify for CIES 2025 conference rates for MEMBERS, you must join or renew your membership BEFORE you register for the conference. If you are only attending CIES 2025 and do not want or do not require a CIES membership, you can skip this step and register to attend the conference as a non-member.
If your CIES membership has expired, please do not create a second/duplicate account.

| Oct. 29, 2024 | Notification letters go out. |
| Oct. 29 – Nov. 18, 2024 | Period for early bird registrations (CIES members with a with role in CIES 2025). |
| Nov. 19 – Dec. 3, 2024 | Period for regular registrations (CIES members with a role in CIES 2025) |
| Dec. 3, 2024 | Deadline for all participants with a role in the CIES 2024 program (except non-presenting authors); participants must join CIES or renew their membership and register for the conference. Registration remains open until the last day of CIES 2024 for those whose names are NOT listed in the Program. |
| Dec. 6, 2024 – Jan. 2, 2025 | Period for early bird registrations (CIES non-members and members with no role). |
| Jan. 15, 2025 | Deadline to request upgrade virtual to on-site participation or vice versa. |
| Feb. 2, 2025 | Registration refund requests. |
| Feb. 7, 2025 | Preliminary program posted online. |
| Feb. 17, 2025 | Deadline for reserving a hotel room with CIES special rates. |
| Feb. 28, 2025 | Online Meeting Hub opens. |
REGISTRATION RATES & DATES
CIES 2025 conference rates are below. Please review them carefully to see which is applicable to you.
CIES Members may take advantage of early bird registration rates starting on November 5, 2024. Regular rates for CIES Members will begin November 26, 2024.
Non-Members early bird registration rates start December 11, 2024 – January 9, 2025. Regular rates for Non-Members will begin January 10, 2025.

To be eligible for registration at “Low Income Country” CIES Member rates, you must:
- have residency in;
- be currently living in; and
- be a citizen of a qualifying country.
All three requirements must be met in order to receive the discounted rate.
